Studio Methodology: Where Nature Meets Design
I. The Architecture of the Pour
At MAYOWA SAMUEL, an object is never merely assembled; it is grown from a singular point of focus. We do not outsource our production to industrial factories or rely on automated assembly lines. Instead, every fluid movement from the raw blending of botanical extracts to the precision of the final hand-pour - takes place entirely within our London studio.
This total creative transparency ensures that nothing is lost in transition. By working in limited, deliberate batches, we interact with every single glass vessel that leaves our hands. It allows us to protect the raw integrity of the botanical notes, ensuring that the atmosphere captured in the studio is the exact atmosphere released in your home.

II. Material Reality and Mass
An object must possess weight to ground a room. We select heavy, transparent glass for its architectural clarity and physical presence. In an era of transient, synthetic materials, we lean into tactile permanence.
“Reserved with intention, from the studio to designated space.”

This dialogue between nature and design dictates our entire process, including how the objects are protected. Each glass vessel is nestled for transit in eco-friendly kraft honeycomb paper. Its geometric form is purely functional, engineered to shelter the glass naturally without a single strip of synthetic waste. It is a thoughtful pause at the threshold of your space, celebrating the tactile moment of discovery.
III. The Botanical Index
Our liquid formulations are curated to shape spatial perception, using clean, high-quality raw ingredients that bridge the natural and the structured world:
Such a Vibrant Thing: An immediate, bright elevation driven by sharp notes of Lemongrass, Lime, and Bergamot.
Something for Sade to Write To: A grounding, contemplative environment layered with Sandalwood, Lavender, and Ylang Ylang.
We do not design scents to mask environments; we create physical objects to define them.

IV. Spatial Integration
The studio is only the beginning of the object's life. The true design process completes itself when the formula enters your environment, interacting with the specific light, air, and setting of your space.
Our collection is an open experience, waiting to be curated according to your structural intent.
